NTPdate is a tool used to quickly synchronize and set computers' date and time by querying a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server.

For periodic synchronization with NTP servers add this task to Cron:
30 * * * * root /usr/sbin/ntpdate -bs [ntp server1] [ntp server2] [ntp server3]
